Founder Story
“I’ve always had a passion for perfume, making my very first rose petal fragrance at the early age of 4, while also spending many happy hours drawing the plants and flowers in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside where I grew up.
That passion never changed - I became a qualified Aromatherapist which progressed to a career in the cosmetics industry spanning over 30 years.
I was fortunate that my business and life took me throughout England where I experienced both City and Country life.
On a sunny day, whilst visiting one of England’s finest Stately homes, I was inspired by the beauty and fragrance of the breath-taking flower gardens to create perfumes that encapsulate the very soul of British culture - from the buzz of London life to the tranquility and simplicity of country living.
True Brit Perfumes was born at that moment and I have had a wonderful and rewarding experience developing each evocative fragrance to reflect the vast diversity of this beautiful country.
